Did you know you need 150 minutes of moderate to vigorous aerobic exercise a week to achieve health benefits? Join our indoor walking program in the Fitness Centre. The walking program is available any day of the week during operating hours. Join any time; price will be prorated.

Lane Swim

Tuesday, May 21, 2019 - 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.
For ages 12+, this swim takes place in the Leisure Pool 7 days a week. Pool is divided into 3 lanes, with lap signs to indicate where to swim based on speed and ability. Poolpod platform lift is available, and equipment such as flutter boards and pull buoys are provided.

Wellness Swim

Tuesday, May 21, 2019 - 6:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
For ages 12+ the Therapy Pool is open to swimmers for therapeutic purposes, with equipment such as noodles and flutter boards available. Therapy Pool includes an accessible ramp with water wheel chairs provided.

Aqua fitness is multi-level class that takes place in the shallow and/or deep water and is great for everyone. A safe and effective fitness program conducted by qualified instructors, exercises are low impact and participants do not need to know how to swim, just be comfortable in chest deep water.

Toddlers under 4 years of age are welcome to swim with a guardian in the Therapy Pool. Water wings, toys and equipment provided. “Little Swimmers” are required, and are available for purchase at the Front Desk for $2.00 per pair. Maximum of 30 participants per swim.

This class is held in the warm therapy pool in chest deep water with ramp access.
